New Hampshire Women's Foundation

STRATEGIC EVENT PLANNING

According to a recent study by the U.S. Department of Labor, women earn on average 80 cents to a man’s dollar.  Things are looking up ladies, but the work is far from over!  The New Hampshire Women’s Foundation is on the front-line, leading the campaign for gender equity. Through research, education, philanthropy and advocacy, they champion issues focused on gender equity and support many nonprofits throughout NH that work hard to secure opportunity and equality for women and girls.

So when the Women’s Foundation asked for our help to organize the Seacoast-regional leg of a statewide fundraising event, we made it our goal to hit it out of the ballpark.  We organized a two-part grand slam evening featuring Josh Levs, author of the critically acclaimed All In: How Our Work-First Culture Fails Dads, Families, and Businesses — and How We Can Fix it Together. We began with a catered reception and book-signing for ticketed guests, followed by a “We the People” community panel discussion on family-friendly workplaces.  The event was inspiring, informative and — best of all — fun, securing financial support for the organization’s mission and taking gender equity one step closer to home plate.

Combining commitment to community with an admirable work ethic full of heart and hard work.
