Karen's work embodies the word "community". A natural connector and collaborator, Karen drives successful outcomes through community development and fundraising as a nonprofit professional, a quintessential volunteer and a compassionate philanthropist. For the past 25 years, Karen's journey has taken her to boardrooms and living rooms. She is a 2010 graduate of Leadership New Hampshire.

• As the Community Development Director, she raised more than $500,000 to support a $5 million capital campaign to construct a YMCA facility. 
• Her collective development work has resulted in well over $2 million in contributions through direct asks and large fundraising events, and has engaged thousands of volunteers in support of nonprofit and community initiatives. 
• She is a mover and shaker in New Hampshire politics, galvanizing grassroots engagement and serving as fiscal agent to state senate and gubernatorial campaigns
